Say you are listening to the radio in your car and do not like the music that you are hearing, what do you do? You change the channel of course! What many people fail to realize is that we can take charge of our lives in the exact same way. Do not like the life that you see before you? Then change your frequency. The key to using the Law Of Attraction usefully is knowing how to raise your emotional frequency.

But what is our ‘frequency’ and how are we supposed to go about raising it?

We Are All Made Up Of Energy

Everything in this universe, including you, is made up of energy. Our thoughts too consist of nothing but the purest of energy. It is this energy that the universe is constantly reacting to, striving to align itself with the energies that we are projecting and expanding on it, to provide us with more of the same. This is our ‘frequency’.

The problem isn’t trying to raise your frequency. After all, when we are being true to ourselves, our frequency and energies are always striving to be at their highest and most positive. However, it is when we let the stresses and worries of daily life affect us that our emotional frequency is dragged down.

You are at your purest, highest frequency when you simply let things be and begin to listen to your true self. To do this, all you have to do is step out of your own way; let go of resistance, stop giving attention to everything that may be wrong in your life and instead, turn your focus to everything that is going right in your life.

1. Listen To Your Thoughts

The art of happiness really does lie in self-awareness and the ability to listen closely to your thoughts. Are your thoughts positive or negative ones?

If negative, then how can you transform them into more positive and uplifting ones?

Next time you feel as though your frequency is at a low, take a moment to listen to your thoughts. If you are thinking about something that you do not like, then turn this thought on its head and think of something that you do want instead.

2. Breathe Deeply

When we breathe deeply, feelings of calm and well-being are dispersed throughout our bodies.

We all have the ability to stop and take a couple of deep breaths. So, it doesn’t matter where or when, if you are beginning to feel bogged down with negativity, take a long, deep inhale and exhale. The relief you feel should be immediate and it can instantly help to raise your frequency.

3. Do Something That You Love

If you are looking to emit your highest possible frequency, passion and happiness are key. These two emotions channel the greatest levels of positive energy that we can emit; as when you are experiencing feelings of complete happiness and joy, there is no room for any negative energy in your life. 4. Meditate

Meditation is about emptying your mind of all thoughts, both negative and positive. Therefore, every time you meditate, your energies are returned to their neutral state – allowing your frequency to rise to the higher state that it continually strives for.

5. Take A Power Nap

Similarly to meditation, when we sleep our mind is cleared of the many thoughts and emotions that influence our frequency. This allows it to naturally return to its high vibrational state.

So, if you ever feel as though you just cannot shake off those pesky, negative emotions and can feel yourself dragging your frequency down, why not indulge in a cheeky power nap? As most of us will already know, everything usually feels a lot better after we have slept. And this is the result of our frequency returning to its natural heights.
